I have such fond memories of Carl and Joan and their two children Leslie and Andy coming to our house for many Thanksgivings and Christmases during my childhood in Duxbury, Massachusetts. My two aunts as well as my aunt and uncle would also be there. This was our special holiday family time that I reflect upon with gratefulness. I remember Carl as a very affable, kind and warm-hearted man who was a good listener and very caring. Carl and Joan were very helpful to my Mom and Dad over the years as they grew older. They would always lend a hand, whether it be a ride for my Mom arriving at Logan airport or taking the time to drive down from the city to visit my Mom on the South Shore.

Carl was a kind man who was also very brilliant. I never saw him often, but when I did I always remembered these qualities. I send my condolences to Joan, Leslie and Andrew. Peace to you all. Love ,Karen
