Mary M. Malone, 99, formerly of Packard St., died Saturday, July 24, 2010, at River Terrace Healthcare in Lancaster after a brief illness. She is survived by two nieces, Ann Fuller and her husband John; Margaret Garofoli and her husband Dr. Peter Garofoli; and a nephew, David K. Stadtherr and his wife Sharon, all of Lancaster, several great-nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She is predeceased by her three siblings, John V. Malone, Joseph G. Malone and Winifred Stadtherr. Mary was born in Lancaster to the late Simon and Winifred (Mullin) Malone. She attended local schools prior to graduating from Mount Notre Dame High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She obtained a degree in Business from Becker Junior College and began employment with the Metropolitan Water District. Mary later joined the Clinton Trust Company and served as Executive Assistant to the President for many years until her retirement. A life long member of Immaculate Conception Church in Lancaster, she served as the former parish organist and was active among the church choir. Mary was a loyal fan of Boston sports teams and enjoyed the pleasure of gardening. Funeral services are to be held Thursday, July 29, 2010, from the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church, 809 Main St., Lancaster. Burial is to follow at St. John Cemetery, Lancaster. A period of calling hours will be held in the funeral home prior to services on Thursday, from 9-9:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mary M.
