Rene 'Bo' Beauregard, 89, of Plymouth, died peacefully January 12, 2021, surrounded by family. He was the husband of the late Lorraine (Flynn) Beauregard and the son of the late Albert and Georgianna (Gauthier) Beauregard. He was born in Worcester and lived in Washington, D.C. and Laurel, Maryland before moving to Plymouth. He graduated from the High School of Commerce (Class of 1949). Mr. Beauregard proudly served in the United States Air Force before going to work as a Research Analyst at the National Security Agency in 1955. He was a member of St. Patricks Church in Wareham. In retirement, Bo enjoyed fishing, crabbing, horseshoes and gardening, as well as a nice Manhattan among friends and family on his back deck. In the past year, he enjoyed being spoiled by his hard working medical aides. Survivors include his daughter, Sandra B. Wood and grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, and Juliana Wood of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter Sheryl Beauregard and husband Joe McNamara of Reston, VA; a son, Kevin Beauregard, wife Stephanie and grandchildren, Samantha and Michael Beauregard of Raleigh, NC; older brother Lee Beauregard and wife Lee of Mesa, AZ; younger brother Roland Beauregard and wife Janice of Auburn, along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Marie Beauregard and a sister, Evelyn Moylan and her husband Richard Moylan. Visiting hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. (Appropriate COVID-19 protocol will be observed including the use of face masks, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity). His Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021 in St. Patricks Church, 82 High St., Wareham. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
