Dorothy A. Taurasi

Dorothy A. Taurasi, 95, matriarch of the Taurasi family, died in Florida, September 11, 2014, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul A. Taurasi; mother of Sandra Waite of Cudjoe Key, Fla., and Paul A. Taurasi of Lakeville and Bonita Springs, Fla.; daughter of the late Anne and Herbert Campbell; sister of the late Isabel Faulds and Herbie Campbell; grandmother of Paul M. Taurasi, Kathleen Taurasi and the late Stephen Peckham; great-grandmother of Jamie Lee Peckham Holland, Tracy Parrish, Casey Phillips, Ashley Cass, and Patrick Cass, and 9 great great-grandchildren. She was a longterm resident of Hingham. Dorothy was a talented artist and musician and will be sadly missed by all. A memorial service was held for Dorothy Tuesday, September 30, at 11 a.m. at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham. Interment private.
