Enio L. Alberghini of Bridgewater passed away March 5, 2021 in the Alliance Health Care at West Acres in Brockton, at the age of 98. Enio was born in Bridgewater, son of the late Argia (Bretta) and Louis Alberghini and was a lifelong Bridgewater resident. Mr. Alberghini worked many years for Lucy Shoe and was a World War II veteran. In his younger years, Enio enjoyed golfing Friday nights with his friends and was a talented woodworker his entire life. After retirement, he worked in his vegetable garden and played bocce with his son, brother and nephew often. Enio was also a member of the Lincoln and 49ers Clubs in Bridgewater. Enio was the beloved husband of the late Olga (Cassiani) Alberghini and devoted father of John Alberghini of Bridgewater. Enio was the dear brother of Louis Alberghini and his wife Mary, Anita Pincolini of Bridgewater and her late husband William and the late Olga and and her husband Ralph Foscaldi. A funeral Mass for Enio will be held in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center Street, Bridgewater, Wednesday, March 10, at 10 a.m. A period of visitation will begin at the Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford Street, Bridgewater, Wednesday at 9 a.m. Burial will follow the Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. Mr. Alberghini,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
