I remember going to see him and his son multiple times. He was an absolute encyclopedia of information about locks... and all things mechanical. He delighted in being able to reach for exactly what he needed to fix my issue of the day. I got the feeling that he loved the work but wasnt crazy about customers asking silly questions. I miss the walk in aspect of the business and seeing him.
