On Wednesday, March 24th, 2021, Jennifer Hawes Michels, loving wife and mother of one child, peacefully passed away surrounded by family at the age of 61. Jennifer grew up in Sudbury, MA, where she met the love of her life, Stephen Michels. Together, they raised one son, Brad Michels. Jennifer had an uphill battle where she conquered many ailments and amazed all that knew her with her perseverance, humor and strength. Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Hawes and her father, Richard Hawes. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Michels, her son, Brad Michels, her daughter in-law, Laura Fleming, her parent in-laws, Karl and Gigi Michels, her sisters, Deb Hawes Davin, Marcia Swenson, Betsy Hawes and her brother, Richard Hawes. A wake will be held on Tuesday, March 30th, 2021 at Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Hello Steve and Brad. I am so saddened to hear of Jenny's passing. They mentioned it in the SUMC service yesterday. She was a courageous person. She rallied so many time. My heart goes out to the two of you and I pray for your strength. May you find support with family and friends during this difficult time.
