Karen, Kevin, and families -

We are so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She certainly was a special person.

As upsetting as this news was, our family was lucky to have been next door neighbors to your mom, and dad, for nearly 30 years. A young family, with a 6 month-old, when we moved in Flo and Walt showed up on our doorstep with a plate of cookies and a friendly welcome. And from there it only got better. With the births of our 2nd and 3rd children there they were again on our doorstep bearing gifts. They spoiled our kids with Block Buster gift cards and loaded their Halloween bags with candy. When my boys got older and started cutting the lawn and snow plowing the driveway, they were very well compensated! As a couple with 3 young children we marveled as Flo and Walt filled their weekends going out to dinner and sporting events, or jetting off to some warm weather destination during February school vacations. That was the way to live! We were jealous.

So many memories to cherish. Thanks for sharing your mom with us.
