Mark and Kevin, I am so sorry for your loss. BWH was my first job after I graduated from BU in 1989. Joan interviewed me! We worked together for 12 years and had a lot of fun times when we were both at 850 in Chestnut Hill. I will always remember Joan. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

To Joan's family:
I was a colleague of Joan's through the APTA of MA. Joan was a firm supporter of her profession and work tirelessly for issues related to advocacy, policy and professionalism. She will be truly missed. May your family be able to remember the light and fun times spent together as you try to get through this very difficult time.

Dear Mark, Kevin and all of Joan’s family, we are so deeply sorry she lost her battle to this horrible disease. We are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. She is with God, at peace, free of her pain, at rest. So, so sorry, she was just taken to soon.
We will be praying for you,

I know Joan as a sensitive considerate caring person. She was always trying to help in any way she could. She was that person to go to.
Either volunteering in her community, collecting and distributing Caps for Kids, an organization she took hold of and her work with the APTA.
She will be greatly missed.
