Raymond A. Kelliher Ph.D, 76, of Norton, and formerly Easton, passed away Nov. 14. Raymond was the cherished husband of 47 years of Christine Roessel. He was the son of the late Raymond and Clara Kelliher and brother of the late Clara Snooki Kelliher, all of Brighton. Raymond was a Double Eagle since he received his bachelor's degree and Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Boston College. Former public school teacher, school administrator and college professor, he then changed his career from education to the private sector. For another 20 years he was employed as Marketing Director for two startup companies, retiring in 2000. In the ensuing years, Raymond switched careers again, earned a CFP and ChFC, and became a Registered Representative with Commonwealth Financial Services in order to work with his wife Christine who was an established Financial Consultant with Commonwealth. Raymond was very funny, loyal and greatly loved by family and friends. He died in the arms of his wife, Christine, whose heart is shattered. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Transfiguration Monastery, 278 Warren St., Brookline, MA 02445. The Monastery and the Holy Nativity Convent also in Brookline were deeply loved by Raymond along with St. Nectarios who had protected him for many years. A funeral service was held Nov. 17, at 10:30 a.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington St. (Rte. 138), Easton. Burial will be private. My sympathy and condolences to Rey's family. He and I were classmates at St.Columbkille High School Class of '54. Although I didn't know it apparently also lived here in same town of Norton.

My sincere sympathy to you. Raymond and I were classmates at St. Columbkille's for many years. We walked up Bennett St. many a day together and he was always nice, good and fun company. May he be very happy in heaven with his whole family united again. Rest in peace, Raymond.
