Obituary Condolences

Roger L. LeClerc, 71, of Norton, formerly of Sharon, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the 30-year companion of Charliene F. Barboza of Norton. He was born in Smithfield, R.I., Feb. 16, 1942, and had grown up and was educated in Sharon. Prior to retiring, Mr. LeClerc had been employed for several years in various capacities at the Raynham/Taunton Dog Track. He was a member of the Wankinquoah Club in Middleboro. In addition to his companion Charliene, he is survived by his children, Russell J. LeClerc of Attleboro, Pamela J. LeClerc-Bovey of Mansfield, Michelle R. Cronin of Hanson, and Scott C. Barboza of Middleboro. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 11, at 11 a.m. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. Burial in the Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton. Visitation was held Thursday morning prior to the services beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Mr. LeClercs family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Oncology Dept. at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital, 211 Park St., Attleboro, MA 02703.
