Harold Boothby Obituary

Harold Hartford Boothby a lifelong resident of Randolph, passed away peacefully in his home on August 5, 2018. He was 91 years old and was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Dorothy (Smith) Boothby and his oldest son Steven Boothby. He is survived by son Gary and his wife Tricia, daughters Marsha Trainor Cindy Mumme and her husband Tom, daughter-in-law Candace Boothby, eight grandchildren,and four great-granddaughters. Harold was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He worked in construction for many years partnered with his brother Ran Boothby. He later worked for the Town of Randolph as a Sealer of Weights and Measures. Harold was a member of the Amvets Post 51 and the Randolph Lodge of Elks. Visiting hours held at Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St., Randolph on Thursday, August 9, from 4 - 8 p.m. A funeral service held on Friday, Aug. 10, at 10 a.m. at Randolph Stetson Hall, 6 So. Main St. Randolph. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Amvets Veterans Post 51. For online guest book and directions, please visit our website, www.thehurleyfuneralhomes.com.
