I am so so saddened to hear of Steve's passing. I always considered him to be a best friend, and thought I would someday have a chance to see him again and catch up. I knew him in 5th grade in Ridgewood NJ and was so sad to lose my best friend when he moved to Massachusetts. I have periodically searched for him on facebook and just tonight thought of using google. Finding his obituary was truly one of the saddest moments in my life. I know it's a bit late, but my prayers go out to his wonderful family. God bless you Steve!

Stephen I mer 4 years ago when I started to work for him and his beloved wife.
Was always a joy to see him with that great sense of humor, especially when cooking and Daysi did not cease to follow him, or when started a new project in your home.
Was always cheerful smiling and above all was very entrepreneurial loving and always me to feel good, and above all that great humility who always admire. Always seeing the positive side in everything you did with Alex and Daisy.
Always admire them as a couple so in love and united.

To The Bowers family,
i met steven on a modeling shoot.... he was brand new in town .... i fell instantly in fanship with him! his car broke down and everything possible that could go wrong went wrong, he endured with a sense of humor! He came to LA to do one thing, ACT! He was willing to take the hits. We had the cutest times living in that tiny little flat in beverly hills ..... steven and i crossed paths on auditions, it was always a joy to see him again....each time i would see him it was such a thrill we would hug and catch up and he would say something witty! the last time i saw him he was just opening the beauty supply shop in santa monica down the street from me .....he was one of the funniest and kind people i have ever met ..... ALL the time he was positive , and uplifting ..... what a great loss, way too young to go ..... my thoughts and prayers go out to you and all that are experiencing sorrow over steves passing .... much love .... goodbye for now stephen you will always be in my heart funny man!

Dearest Bowers Family
I had the great pleasure of casting Stephen on several projects - he was on every list we made that he was remotely right for - the last thing we cast him on he played Bill Engvall's brother - we were beside ourselves excited that he got the role. He was talented and better than that - a really, really great man - so real - as an actor and as a person. Everyone adored him. My heart goes out to all of the family - Sally Stiner

To the Bowers family,
I'm deeply saddened by Steve's passing. I met Steve in West Los Angeles at the San Francisco Saloon. We were friends and neighbors. Steve was one of the funniest and friendliest people I've ever met. My thoughts are with all who will miss him.
