GRANT, Danny September 11, 1946 to April 4th, 2000 Dear Dad, It was ten years ago today that we buried you, a day I will now never forget, although I did forget the exact date for eight of the past ten years, as the memory of the loss was too painful to bear. People say that time heals all wounds. I think those "people" never met you. To this day, it feels like the emptiness in my heart will always be there. You have missed so much in the past ten years...even though you have shown us in some small way that you were with us...like the time Scott brought two left shoes to Cuba. We knew that you had your hand in that comic relief, and we were both grateful for it! Or the time I saw the bald eagle on the way to Grandma's funeral...everyone knew that was you! Life without you has been hard, and will continue to be, but I am grateful for the 30 years I had you in my life, I am, and always will be, proud to be known as "Danny Grant's daughter"!
