HAMEL, Jack (John) Suddenly at home at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 58 years to Rosemary. Loving father of Susan, John and wife Laurie, and pre-deceased by son Aaron (2003). Loving papa of Jennifer and Taylor. Dear brother of Barbara Pope and husband Dave and Joyce Ternovan and husband George. Mr. Hamel retired from Chrysler Michigan in the Engineering department with 24 years of service. Visitation will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh, from 1-3 p.m. Saturday September 18 & 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday September 19 with parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Monday September 20 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home to St. John Vianney for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
