It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Luigi, a loving Husband, Father, Nonno, Bis-Nonno and Brother on April 9, 2018, at the age of 90. Beloved Husband to Enrica (nee Stirpe) with whom he celebrated 60 years of marriage. Loving and devoted Father to Alfredo Alfini and wife Patti, Vittoria Alfini and Don Whitford and Roberto Alfini and wife Joanne. Cherished Nonno to Randy, Ryan (Michael), Gabriella, Shae-Lynn, Isabella, Julian, Sophia, Cole, Jailynn and Bis-Nonno to Evan. Predeceased by parents Alfredo and Vittoria Alfini. Dear Brother to Rita Tiberia and husband Angelino of Italy. Predeceased by brothers; Angelo, Joseph, Lorenzo, and sister Teresa. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Luigi was a very respected and passionate painter in the Windsor-Essex County Area. He enjoyed playing soccer from a very young age and taught his children and grandchildren to carry on this tradition. on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Services on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
