It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Rita surrounded by her loving children on April 30, 2018 at 83 years of age. Reunited with her husband Ottavio Travo. Cherished and devoted Mother of Rose Marie Graham and Ottavio Travo and wife Sarah. Adored Nonna of Andrew, Sarah, Ava, Taya and Hanna. Dear sister of the late Antonia, late Rocco, late Vincenzina, Carmela, late Maria, Salvatore, late Vincenzo, and late Vittorio. Best friend and sister-in-law of Giovanna Provenzano (nee Frangione). Treasured and favourite Zia of Frank Provenzano (Kelly), Antonella Borrelli (Jim), the late Rocco Provenzano, Michael Borrelli (Julia), Tory Provenzano, and Joe Facchineri (Mena). She will also be missed dearly by many nieces, nephews and extended family members in Canada, U.S.A., Italy and Argentina. In 1964 at the age of 29, Rita embarked on a journey from Amantea Calabria, Italy to Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. The love of her life Ottavio followed her courage and path to start a family. We would like to recognize all of the friends that Rita made along this journey that brought her to her final home here in Windsor. Rita was a gifted seamstress and loved to spend her time in the kitchen where she always had a place for friends and family at her table. Above all, Rita's unwavering love and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. We are so saddened to hear of Rita's passing. She was a wonderful neighbor, always ready with a smile and wave. She loved to hear how our family was doing.

It was easy to see the love she had for her own children and especially her grand-kids.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.
