ROBACK, William It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of William "Bill" Roback on December 5, 2009 at University Hospital in London. Beloved husband and best friend of Doris Roback, with whom he celebrated 57 years of marriage. Loving father of Susan Roback-Lescinsky, and Debra Fraser and husband Chris. Adored Papa to Robert Lescinsky, Katelyn and Heather Fraser, and the late Tara Lescinsky (2001). Dear son of the late Steve and Mary Roback; and son-in-law of the late Mike and Ksenia Karpiuk. Dear brother of Walter Roback and wife Erma, James Roback and wife Irene, Mary Ann Travenetti and husband Ronald, and the late Stella Gadowski, the late Alec Roback and his surviving wife Wanda, and the late George Roback. Dear brother-in-law of George Karpiuk and wife Joyce. Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Bill was a retiree of G.M Trim, and Secretary of the retirees Local 1973 for many years. He was also a 50 year member of the Carpenter's Union 494, and a very active member of the East Windsor Kiwanis Club. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Wednesday December 9, 2009 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Panakhyda Wednesday at 7:30 pm. The family will receive friends on Thursday December 10, 2009 at Sts. Vladimir & Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church (1505 Langlois Ave. at Shephard St. East) for visitation from 10:30 am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Rt. Rev. Fr. Eugene Halitsky officiating. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to assist with the building of the new Sts. Vladimir & Olga Church, would be appreciated by the family.
