BALAZS, Steve John 58 years, suddenly on April 24, 2005 in Florida. Beloved husband of 35 years to Linda (nee Jackson). Loving father of Angela Balazs, and Amanda and husband Glen Miller. Dearest grandpa of Joey. Dear son of Shirley and the late Steve Balazs Sr. and son-in-law of the late Richard and Lillian Jackson. Dear brother of William and wife Theresa and brother-in-law of Butch and Sue Jackson, of Sarnia. Great friends to John and Mary Karen Kerekes. Loving uncle to Jeffery and wife Janet; Wesley and wife Kate Balazs; Michelle and husband Sean Balga; Melissa and Charlie Hanses, Tracey and Keith Sipkens, Jason and Jen Jackson and Lindsay and Lisa Jackson. Great uncle to Courtney; Lillianna; and Tristan, Torrin and Seth. Dear nephew of Anne Kochish and Doreen Sepejak. Steve was a retired co-owner of Aradco - Aramco Management Ltd. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and was a member of the Michigan/Ontario Muskie Association, the Manitoulin Hunters' Club, a scuba diver, a traveling man and was heavily involved with the "Bitch Table" at the Belle River Marina. Greatly missed by his family, employees, many friends and especially "Buddy". Visiting Sat. and Sun. from 2-5 and 7-9pm. Parish prayers Sun. at 7:30 pm. at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830). The Funeral will be held on Monday, May 2, 2005 at 12:15 pm from the funeral home to St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 pm. Fr. Robert Couture and Fr. Larry Brunet will concelebrate. Entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. It doesn't seem possible that life can pass so quickly until one day you look up from your daily grind and all you have left are memories of someone you cared for. It seems we never count our blessings enough in life and really appreciate the things that we have until it's too late. With the passing of our friend Steve Balazs we have all paused and taken time to reflect on some of the great memories that we have as a result of our time with Steve. Whether you spent time with Steve at work, or at play, everyone who knew him has some kind of Steve story to share. If you worked with Steve you quickly came to realize that he was a boss unlike any other. He was a boss that you worked with, more than you worked for. Steve would not ask you to do anything that he would not be willing to do himself. If you happened to be lucky enough to share time with Steve at play, you realized that you were spending time with a kid trapped in a grownup's body.
