CARTER KERNERSVILLE Carolyn Goodson Carter April 5, 2013 Carolyn Goodson Carter, 88, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013, the daughter of the late Henry and Carrie Kiser Goodson. Carolyn lived a long and full life among family and friends in Winston-Salem. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Caldwell Carter, and one brother, Clay Goodson. Carolyn was greatly loved by her son, Dr. Steven R. Carter and wife, Libby of Pinehurst, and daughter, Betsy Carter Russell, and husband, Greg of Oak Ridge. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Stephanie Carter of Charleston, SC, and Emily Carter Hare, and husband, Bud, of Sanford and her new great-granddaughter, Delaney Elizabeth Hare; one sister, Cecilia Goodson Spach, and husband, Dr. Madison Spach, of Durham; and two brothers, Carey Goodson, and Clive Goodson and wife, JoAnn, all of Winston-Salem.
