Karbowski, Estel L.
Estel Larie Karbowski, age 87, of 116 4th Street, Nekoosa, WI died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards, WI.
Services were held Thursday at Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home in Nekoosa, Rev. John Swing officiated, burial took place in Riverside Cemetery in Nekoosa.
Estel was born September 12, 1925 in Westboro, Missouri to the late John and Laura (Shepard) Lane. She married Robert Karbowski on August 2, 1941 in Heartville, Missouri, he died September 2, 1976. Estel was a homemaker, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children: Robert (Roxine) Karbowski of Nekoosa, Donna (Richard) Koplien of Nekoosa, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and 3 nephews and two special friends Carrie and Tammy.
Estel was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, one brother and three sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated in Estel's name to Ministry Home Care Hospice.
The family would like to thank the staff of Ministry Home Care Hospice and Edgewater Haven Nursing Home for their excellent care given to Estel.

May God Bless your whole family and provide you comfort during this time of loss. Estel was a lovely lady and had such quick wit, I always enjoyed talking to her and seeing her in town. I'm know God has a special place for her and she is keeping an eye on us all!
