Russell R. Rodock, age 86, of 151 Buffalo Street, Wisconsin Rapids, WI died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Private family services will be held.
Russell was born February 17, 1926 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Steven and Florence (Baker) Rodock. He married Janice G. Johnson on November 14, 1953 in Finley, WI. Russell was employed in the grinder room at Consolidated Papers Inc. for 38 years retiring in 1988.
Russell served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was an avid outdoorsman including hunting and fishing.
Russell is survived by his wife, Janice; three children, Bonnie (Kent) Roach of Bismarck, ND, Mary (Steve) Bowden of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Rae Rehman of Whitewater, WI; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and five siblings.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents, son, Gary, and one brother.
Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids is handling all arrangements.
