Frank J. Bengert, age 84, formerly of 448 18th Avenue South, Wisconsin Rapids, WI died Monday, July 1, 2013 at Arborwood Lodge, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Funeral Services are 11:00 AM Friday, July 5, 2013 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Rev. Sahayanathan Nathan will officiate. Visitation will take place at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church on Friday from 10:00-11:00 AM. Entombment in Forest Hill Mausoleum.
Frank was born November 2, 1928 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to John and Frances (Wronke) Bengert. He married Patricia Ironside in 1955 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She died June 11, 1997.
Frank was employed at Consolidated Papers Inc. for 43 years retiring in 1990. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Frank was a member of VFW Post #2534 of Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He was also an avid outdoorsman including hunting and fishing.
Frank is survived by his sister, Belle (Dennis) Farrell of Wautoma, WI and is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Patricia.
Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids is handling all arrangements.

We only knew Frank for a short time but we always enjoyed our visits with him at Arborwood. Our condolences go out to his family and friends at the loss of this wonderful man.
