Beverly was born February 4, 1927 in Nekoosa, WI to Louis and Hattie (Schultz) Meyer. She married Jack Podvin on January 31, 1948 in Nekoosa, WI. Beverly was a secretary/clerk for Nekoosa Edwards Paper Company and later for the Village of Port Edwards.

Beverly enjoyed singing, reading, cooking, baking and politics. She spent many afternoons tuned into the Rush Limbaugh show on the radio in her kitchen. She also enjoyed watching Fox News throughout the day. She was a woman of strong will and convictions and rock solid in her faith. Beverly endured many hardships throughout her life such as her mother's death when she was 9 years old, high school boarding school many miles away from home and decades of health issues and physical ailments. To her credit she displayed an iconic belief in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and always stood firm in the resurrection and eternal life in heaven thereafter for all believers. She cherished her church and was very proud of her Missouri Synod Lutheran Heritage. Beverly loved her family dearly and held her granddaughters very close and dear to her heart.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Jack; son, Jonathan (Elizabeth) Podvin of Kaukauna, WI; two grandchildren, Hannah and Claire.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Everett Meyer and George Meyer and sister, Eleanor Ahrens.
