Harry Joseph Bujanowski, Jr.

Wisconsin Rapids - Harry Joseph Bujanowski, Jr., age 82, entered his heavenly home on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Hilltop Grand Village in Wisconsin Rapids following a courageous battle with cancer. Family members were at his side.

Funeral Services for Harry will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Faith Baptist Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Reverend Steven Steinmetz will officiate. The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday morning at the church from 9-11 a.m. Mid Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting family with arrangements.

Harry was born on December 6, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Harry Joseph Bujanowski and Eleanor Hartwig. He married Joan Delores Abel on April 16, 1955 in Milwaukee, WI. He was employed at Georgia Pacific for thirty three years before retiring in 1994.

Harry had a strong faith in the Lord which he loved sharing with others. He enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and in his younger years hunting camping and hiking. He relished time spent with his children and grandchildren. He spoiled his grandchildren with root beer floats and his family with his special homemade pizza.

Harry is survived by his wife of 62 years; daughter Lynne (David) Fuhrmann of Milford, Ohio, son Carl (Jill) of Poynette, WI, David (Yvonne) of Wisconsin Rapids, and Michael (Arlene) of Edgar, WI; grandchildren Christopher Fuhrmann (Annie Schulkers), Matthew (Alysia) Fuhrmann, Bradley (Alice Carr) Fuhrmann, Valerie (Brandon) Ryan, Jeffrey (Jordy) Bujanowski, Kremena Bujanowski; great -grandchildren Ryan Fuhrmann, Gavin Schulkers, Luka Fuhrmann, Vincent Fuhrmann, Rosalyn Fuhrmann, Emeryn Fuhrmann, Adelyn Ryan, Jack Ryan, Lily Ryan, Avery Bujanowski and Matthew Bujanowski; sisters Elaine Mamayek and Diane Warner; brother Michael.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter Karen; grandsons Joshua Bujanowski and Michael Bujanowski; sisters Lorraine Cherne and Shirley Bujanowski; and brother Gerald.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be designated for Military Bible Sticks.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Ministry Home Car/Hospice and the staff at Hilltop Grand Village for the care and compassion give to Harry.
