Jeannette Williams, age 63, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

Memorial Services are 11:00 AM Friday, October 6, 2017 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Father David Bruener will officiate. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Church on Friday from 9:00-11:00 AM. Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is assisting the family.

Jeannette was born December 29, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to George and Victoria (Duchiack) Vonovich. Although born in Michigan, she considered Southern California her home and spent much of her life there. She was employed as a loan processor at Paper Cities Savings in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, retiring in 2015.

Family was the driving force in Jeannette's life, and her interests often reflected whatever activities her daughters were involved in at the time. Most recently, Jeannette served on the board of directors for the Miss Wisconsin Rapids Area scholarship pageant. She also stayed busy following and supporting her girls as they performed in different concerts, community events, and church services.

Jeannette is survived by two daughters, Laura (Ross) Slovensky of Maple Grove, MN and Katie (Nick) Tomsyck of Town of Rome, WI; mother, Victoria Vonovich of Laguna Woods, CA; two sisters, Janis Buckley of La Mirada, CA and Jayne (Dennis Calvin) Currie of Bullhead City, AZ; one brother, Chris (Kara) Vonovich of Star, ID; nieces and nephews, Bonnie Buckley, Regina (Chad) Daves, Gena Vonovich and George Vonovich,, her three special friends Tina (Dan) Bartram, Lynda (Dave) Olson, Kathy (Steve) Lamb and many other very close family and friends.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her father, George and her grandparents.

Katie, Laura, Nick, Ross, and Jeannette's closest friends would like to thank the staff at the UW Cancer Center - Riverview as they supported Jeannette throughout her three-year battle with cancer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the UW-Cancer Center, Riverview.
