Lois enjoyed teaching Sunday School to the little children at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She worked in the meat department at Rog's Food in Nekoosa. She transferred to Bob's Castle Foods meat department when they opened. She never thought of it as work but doing something she really enjoyed along with helping the customers. She retired with 15 years of service on November 26, 1991.

Her pride and joy were her grandchildren. They enjoyed many summers with their grandchildren at their cottage in Woodruff. Their lives were enriched by the special times they spent with them. Many memories were made and they are still shared today.

Lois spent countless hours planting flowers; which showed in her beautiful flower gardens every summer. She loved cardinals and many cardinal items would be seen throughout her decorated home. She enjoyed all the family holidays and loved to cook and bake until she was no longer able to. You would hear her cheering for her favorite GB Packer player, Brett Favre, on game day. She enjoyed playing the machines at Rainbow Casino.

She was a very devoted mom with a beautiful soul and smile. She was quick to lend a helping hand to us at any time. Lois and Charles enjoyed 65 years together. Through her long progression with Alzheimer's he never left her side. He took care of her needs with patience, love and grace. His love for her was endless.

Lois is survived by her beloved husband Charles, children David (Diana) King of Nekoosa, Bonnie (Michael) Barrette of Wisconsin Rapids and Daniel King of Nekoosa; grandchildren Megan King of Nekoosa, Kaleb (Kristina) King of Cedarburg, Ashley (Lucas) Pivonka of Manitowoc and Jenna (Scott) Whitrock of Wisconsin Rapids; great-grandchildren Rylan and Mason Whitrock, Averie and Kinsley Pivonka and Claire King; sister Pearl Zeman of Wisconsin Rapids. She is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Emma (Kuhn) Marth, brothers Arthur and Clarence Marth, sisters Olga Troyanoski and Esther Spice and an infant sister Mildred Marth.

Lois' family would like to thank the caregivers at Our House Assisted Living, Cranberry Court, Atrium and Heartland Hospice for the loving and compassionate care given to Lois.

You are my Sunshine my only sunshine

You make me happy when skies are grey

You never know dear, how much I love you

Please don't take my sunshine away…..
