West Bend - Lucille M. Magiera (nee Kester, Formerly Schladweiler) age 83 of West Bend Wisconsin passed away Wednesday, January 03, 2018 at the Samaritan Nursing Home in West Bend.

Lucy was born on September 12, 1934 in Saratoga, WI to Frank and Clara (nee Arndt) Kester. She was united in marriage to Bernard S. Magiera in 1980. She was previously married to Francis Schladweiler. Lucy worked for MicroDesign for many years. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, her dogs, and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Lucy is survived by 5 loving children, Larry Schladweiler of Hubertus, Kenny (Nancie) Schladweiler of Neosho, Thomas (Sherry) Schladweiler of Hartford, Marilyn Rios of Jackson, and RaeAnn (Gary) Buerger of Brownsville; 14 cherished grandchildren, Jason (Stephanie) Schladweiler, Melissa (Jim) Weinberger, Brain Schladweiler, Amy (Wade) Much, Glen Dornacker, Jen (Chad) Aker, John Maramonte, Justin Schladweiler, Jared (Kelly) Schladweiler, Janessa Rios, Breanna, Bryce, Brady (Sadie),Bennett Buerger; 18 cherished great-grandchildren; and dear siblings, Lilian "Tootie" Wilkin, Doris "Suzie" DeBhur, Judy (Pat) Parmeter, Barb Hewitt, and David Kester. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of 26 years, Ben Magiera and ex-husband, Francis Schladweiler; daughter, Kathy Dornacker, sisters, Evelyn Lee, Elaine and Eileen Erickson and Brenda Stone; and brothers, Jerry "Bud", Richard, and Raynard Kester,.

A Memorial Service for Lucy will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11:30a.m.with Fr. David LaPlante officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00a.m.-11:30a.m.

Inurnment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
