Wisconsin Rapids - Lynette J. Wilson, age 93, of Wisconsin Rapids died Saturday January 13, 2018 at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday January 17, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Jonathan Petzold will officiate. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Online condolences may be expressed at ritchayfuneralhome.com. Lynette was born January 10, 1925 in Wisconsin Rapids to Martin and Minnie (Brehm) Zuege. She married Russell Wilson on April 14, 1945 in Wisconsin Rapids. He died March 26, 2015. Lynette was a Dental Assistant for Gurtler Dental for 10 years, retiring in 1978. In earlier years she was an Avon Products representative.

Lynette was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a former choir member. She was also a homemaker who greatly enjoyed cooking and baking.

She is survived by two children Wayne (Karleen) Wilson of Whitewater and Judy Nelson of Wisconsin Rapids; four grandchildren Shane (Erika) Wilson, Amy Wilson, Jennifer (Nathaniel) Miller and Ryan Nelson; five great grandchildren Trevor (T`Naya) Wilson, Brody, Carter and Paige Wilson and Posey Miller; one great great grandson Trevor Wilson Jr., one sister Betty Tuxhorn of Wisconsin Rapids; two brothers Elton "Bud" (Elaine) Zuege and Ronald Zuege both of Wisconsin Rapids and by her former son in law and devoted friend Gary Nelson of Wisconsin Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; granddaughter Terra Nelson and three sisters Lucille Ashenberg, Dorothy Manz and Joyce Marti.

The Wilson Family would like to thank The Renaissance of Wisconsin Rapids for the wonderful care given to Lynette.
