Rued, Margaret A.

Loving Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend, Margaret A. (Margie) Rued passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and husband on November 30, 2017 at Brewster Village in Appleton. Margie was born in Wisconsin Rapids on March 12, 1931, daughter of the late August and Mary (Niebergall) Ladwig. She married her soul mate Gerald "Bud" Rued on October 15, 1955 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2000.

Margie enjoyed gardening, musky fishing with Bud and their friends in the Iola Musky Club, playing bridge, and of course, golf. She was a past Club Champion at Bulls Eye Country Club In Wisconsin Rapids and at the Iola Country Club (Glacier Wood) in Iola. What she most enjoyed however was spending time with her family and her precious shih tsu "Molly".

She was a volunteer for Lifeline, Meals on Wheels for many years and for the Iola Car Show. She was a member of the Iola Hospital and Nursing Home Auxiliary. She also had been a member of the Esther Circle at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. And not to forget a huge Packer fan.

Survivors include her Son, Tom (Julie), Neenah; Grandson, Cory (Corinne), Neenah; Granddaughter, Nicole (Sam DeSantos), Neenah; Sisters-in-law, Mae Knuth and Eunice Matthews, Wisconsin Rapids: Cousin: John Niebergall, Ferron, UT. Nieces: Cindy (Mel) Bluhm, Debbie (Bob) Swiggum, Sheila (Bill) Swarrick, Sheri (Ross) Knuth-Turner and Kristen (Chris) Ashenberg. Nephews: Ed (Lynne) Ladwig, Tim and Fred Ladwig, Steve (Carol) Knuth, Scott (Sharon) Knuth, and many special friends. She was preceded in death by brothers Friederich and Robert and sisters Edna, Marion, and Doris Franson.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Iola, Wisconsin with Rev. Dale Wilson officiating. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 4-7 PM at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola and on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of service at the Church. Interment will be in Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Scandinavia, Wisconsin.

A Memorial is being established for Alheimers research.
