Marie L. Weber

Nekoosa - Marie L. Weber, age 94, formerly of Nekoosa, passed away into the arms of her loving Lord on Thursday January 7, 2021 at Wisconsin Rapids Health Services in Wisconsin Rapids.

Due to the pandemic funeral services will be private at Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home. Rev. Timothy Miller will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Nekoosa.

Marie was born on April 20th 1926 in Wisconsin Rapids to Carl and Jessie (Amundson) Holz. She married Vernon (Hoot) Weber on November 1944, he died April 23, 1984. Together they raised two sons, Donald (Mary) Weber and Allen (Beverly) Weber.

After Vernon's passing, Marie enjoyed the company of William Benz and her family and friends including grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a regular attendee at her church The Nekoosa United Church of Christ that she loved and where she was a member for 82 years.

Marie preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandchild Amy Weber, 2 brothers; Virgil and Donald Holz and one half-brother; Elroy Miracle, and step daughter; Mary Jean Jung.

Marie is survived by her sons, grandchildren; Brian Weber (Jill), Laura (Tony) Murphy, Shawn (Michelle) Weber, stepson James Weber and several great and great great grandchildren and two sisters-In-law; Loretta (Holz), Katie (Miracle) and step son-in-law Larry Jung.
