Marjorie B. Hanneman, age 85 of Wisconsin Rapids, WI passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at her residence. She was surrounded by her family and friends, and was under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care Hospice.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Jim Altman will officiate, burial will take place at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Church on Monday from 10:30-11:00 AM.

Marjorie was born November 24, 1931 in Iron River, Michigan to the late Roger and Celia (Wickman) Smith. She married James Hanneman on November 28, 1953 at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids, he died July 7, 2011. Marjorie was employed as a clerk at Consolidated Papers, was later employed by The Brig and was a Homemaker later in life. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, camping, rummage sales, picking berries, going to The Sandhill Game Farm and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Marjorie is survived by her children: Tom (Kathy) Hanneman of Wisconsin Rapids, Pat (Vanessa) Hanneman of Wisconsin Rapids, Mary (Patrick) Hilgers of Wisconsin Rapids, Terry (Tim) Weier of Wisconsin Rapids, Gig (Lori) Hanneman of Wisconsin Rapids, John (Mariyah) Hanneman of Mooresville, N.C., grandchildren: Tina, Ryan, Jenna, Conrad, Jason, Charlene, Kimberly, Jodi, Shawn, Tracy, Trevor, Alexander, Melanie, Roman; great-grandchildren: Griffin, Brayden, Holden, Shawn, Erin, Isaac, Caleb, Devontae, Jaden, Aliyah, Abbigail, Jordan, Alexander, Jayda, Jacob, José, Mateo and Madasyn, and her sister Camilla (Marvin) Forton of Wisconsin Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her husband James, two infant children - Jimmy and David, her parents, brother Ellsworth, sisters Helen and Norma.

A special thank you to Aspirus Comfort Care Hospice and to UW Madison Hospital for the excellent care given to mom.
