Marjorie M. Ewert, age 83 of Wisconsin Rapids, WI died Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Ministry St. Clare's Hospital in Weston, WI.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Mary Lou Plummer will officiate, entombment will be in Forest Hill Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at Ritchay Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM and again on Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.

Marjorie was born December 11, 1933 Wisconsin Rapids to the late William and Edna (Spielman) Wilke. She married Melvin Kitowski in 1952, that marriage later ended in divorce. Marjorie then married Donald Ewert on April 15, 1971 in Caledonia, Minnesota. In 1969 Marjorie went back to school at Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids to earn a Clerical Degree. She was employed in the Clerical Accounts Division at Nekoosa Papers - Port Edwards Division (Domtar) for 20 years, until retiring in 1990. Marjorie loved spending time with family, immensely enjoyed pampering herself with manicures and pedicures. Her hobbies included camping and snowmobiling in her younger days as well as crocheting and knitting.

Marjorie is survived by her children: James (Evelyn) Kitowski of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Randall Kitowski of Oshkosh, WI, Daniel (Anna) Kitowski of Stevens Point, WI, Ricky (Jacqueline) Kitowski of Vesper, WI, Peggy (Gerald) Schroeder of Wausaukee, WI, Cindy (Jeff Weir) Senn of Stevens Point, WI, 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and best friend Mavis Newman.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Edna, Husband Donald, daughter Gail, sister Doretta of Wisconsin Rapids and 2 brothers Donald and William of Wisconsin Rapids.

The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at St. Clare's Hospital in Weston for the excellent care given to Marjorie.
