Wisconsin Rapids - Mary O'Shasky, age 102, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, WI died Sunday, December 31, 2017 at North Crest Assisted Living, Stevens Point, WI.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Fr. Valentine Joseph will officiate. Visitation will take place at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church on Saturday from 9:00-10:30 AM. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is assisting the family.

Mary was born March 13, 1915 in Cooperstown, WI to Joseph and Ella (Shimon) Fidler. She married Clem O'Shasky on April 30, 1938 at St. Kilian's Catholic Church in Blenker, WI. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1982.

Mary did domestic work for various places in the Wisconsin Rapids area for 30 years retiring in July 1990. She was a former member of the St. Mary's Women's Club, the St. Mary's Senior Citizens, the Rudolph Senior Citizens and the NAIM Society in Wisconsin Rapids. Mary enjoyed cake decorating, gardening, playing cards and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by one daughter, Karen (Richard) Shirek of Stevens Point, WI; one son, David (Sharon) O'Shasky of Appleton, WI; seven grandchildren, Randall (Vicki) Shirek, Ann (John) Siedel, Kari (Todd) Worzella, Sara O'Shasky, Lynn O'Shasky, Nicholas (Jennifer) O'Shasky and Chris (Russ) Christian; and twelve great grandchildren, Anthony (Jayme), Jordan, and Spencer Shirek; Maren and Logan Worzella; Henry, Jack and Rudy Rotter; Madelaine and Max O'Shasky; and Clementine and Django Christian; and two great great grandchildren, Cora and Brooke Shirek.

Mary is also survived by one brother, Walter (Nicole) Fidler of Milwaukee, WI and one sister, Helen Alexander of Vermont.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Clem; four sisters, Eleanor Pelner, Violet Van Dusen, Marcella Ward and Rose Weinberger; two brothers, Edward Fidler and Harvey Fidler; and one great grandson, Maxwell Worzella.
