Orville L. Buelow, age 74, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017, with his "Cookie" hugging him until the end, due to heart complications.

Memorial Services are 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home in Nekoosa, WI. Pastor Dean Pingel will officiate. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 AM.

Orville was born January 15, 1943 in the Town of Eau Pleine, WI to Orville and Connie (Liebe) Buelow. He and JoAnn (Reimer) Buelow were together for 34 years, being married for 25 of those years. Their marriage was held on August 29, 1992 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Orville was retired from Ore-Ida.

Orville enjoyed fishing the Willow Flowage; hunting; camping; racing; playing baseball; fixing any engine; was a certified GMC mechanic and loved sharing his wisdom in all of the above. For the last few years, Orville loved spending time with his great grandson, his little buddy, Mac.

Orville is survived by his wife, JoAnn; five children, Sherri (Mike) Groshek of Junction City, WI, Todd Buelow of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Kim Shirek of Stevens Point, WI, Traci (Tom) Adams of Stevens Point, WI and Cory (Danielle) Buelow of Junction City, WI; 15 grandchildren, Nikki Groshek Shave, Laschel Groshek Canfield, Julia Groshek Trzebiatowski, Stephanie Shirek Flanagan, Gregory Groshek, Adam Shirek, Andrew Shirek, Brook Buelow, Jessica Buelow, Emily Buelow, Troy Adams, Joe Hendricks, Tabitha Adams, Hannah Buelow and Leonard Buelow; and 15 great grandchildren.

Orville was preceded in death by his father, Orville Buelow, mother, Connie Liebe Buelow Sentek, step-father Bernard Sentek and three siblings, Judy, Karen and Terry.
