Wisconsin Rapids, WI - Richard "VonDeer" VonLoh, age 78 of 3112 Midas Court, Wisconsin Rapids died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Pastor David Bratlie will officiate the service, burial will take place in Restlawn Memorial Park. Military rites will be provided by VFW Post #2534 of Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at Ritchay Funeral Home from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.

Richard was born November 19, 1939 in Merrill, WI to the late Kermit and June (Kellnofer) VonLoh. He married Virginia Kieliszewski on August 27, 1960 in Stevens Point, WI. He served in the U.S. Army during peacetime and was stationed in Germany. Richard was employed in the Shipping Department of NEPCO (Domtar) in Port Edwards, WI retiring in 1997 after 32 years of service.

Richard enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, C.B. radio, woodworking, making buttons, adult coloring and making and giving away "nail games". He was a member of the Mighty Mikes C.B. Club.

Richard is survived by his wife Virginia VonLoh of Wisconsin Rapids, children: Tracy (Kirk) Saeger of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Troy (Tammy) VonLoh of Nekoosa, WI, Todd (Sarah) VonLoh of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Tammy (Bill) Pritzl of Oshkosh, WI, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, brother Terry VonLoh of Fresno, CA, sisters Judy Kendall of Racine, WI, Bonnie (Dennis) Dixon of Sturtevant, WI, half-brother Jerry (Scott) Barker of Waukesha, WI and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved pet dog Murphy.

The family would like to thank Aspirus Hospice Care, the staff at Aspirus Riverview Hospital and Dr. Ridhwi Mukerji for the excellent care given to Richard.
