Robert A. Slattery, age 86, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, formerly of Rudolph, WI died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at St. Philip's Catholic Church, Rudolph, WI. Father David Bruener will officiate. Visitation will be at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI from 4:00-8:00 PM Monday and Tuesday at the Church from 10:00-11:00 AM. There will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Rudolph, WI.

Robert was born February 18, 1931 in Rudolph, WI to Lawrence and Beatrice (Share) Slattery. He married Loretta Joosten on August 18, 1954 in Rudolph, WI. Robert was a dairy farmer in Rudolph for many years retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and was a long time member of St. Philip's Church.

Robert is survived by his wife, Loretta; two sons, Jacob (Dawn) Slattery of Rudolph, WI and Matthew (Lore) Slattery of New Franken, WI; five daughters, Joanne (Rick) Weiler of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Cindy (Denny) Marach of Menomonie, WI, Sarah (Dave) Ehlert of Vesper, WI, Teresa (Bob) Anderson of Maplewood, MN and Martha (Mike) Konkol of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; one brother, Larry Slattery of Rudolph, WI; two sisters, Bonnie Ebacher of Grafton, WI and Eileen Rosandick of Hudson, WI; sister-in-law, Carol Slattery of Alexandria, MN; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Sally Slattery, and brother, David Slattery.
