Shelley Eichhorn Obituary
Eichhorn, Shelley

Shelley L. Eichhorn, age 62, of Wisconsin Rapids, died Sunday August 20, 2017 at UW Hospital in Madison.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday August 24, 2017 at the Nekoosa United Church of Christ. Rev. Timothy Miller will officiate. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home is assisting the family. Shelley was born Febuary 23, 1955 in Walkerton, Indiana to Keith and Carol (Tinkey) Lewis. She married William Eichhorn on May 11, 1993 in Wisconsin Rapids. During her lifetime, she was employed for the Buyers' Guide, Northland Cranberries, and Golden Eagle Log Homes. She was currently employed in the Human Resources department at Figis.

Shelley loved sitting outside in the summer with her family, talking and laughing, while watching Daisy and Pepper play. She enjoyed caring for her flowers, driving with the windows open while listening to the Scorpions, watching thunderstorms, and supporting the Green Bay Packers. Most of all she enjoyed time spent with family.

She is survived by her husband William Eichhorn; daughter Devon (Charles) Winegarden of Menasha; step-son Shane Eichhorn of Wisconsin Rapids; three grandchildren, Justice, Kay-Li, and Shane; sister Victoria (Leon) Nehring; many brothers and sister in-law, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Lewis, Gray, and Tinkey families.

Shelly was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Brian and Christopher Lewis, grandparents Thomas and Emma Lewis, Clifford and Vera Gray, and Charles and Faye Tinkey.

The family would like to thank Jackie Mastny for the wonderful care and compassion she gave Shelley in the ICU.

"We will miss you every minute of every day and love you for eternity." Love, Devon and Justice
