Bruske Harrer, Wanda M.

Wanda M. Bruske Harrer, age 88, daughter of Walter and Emma Boutin, entered eternal life on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home, Port Edwards, WI.

Private family services will be held at Ritchay Funeral Home at 1950 12th Street South in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. A public visitation will be held at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM (Noon).

Wanda was born March 28, 1929 in Bayfield, WI. Wanda married Otto Bruske and he preceded her in death. She then married Leo Harrer and he preceded her in death. Wanda worked for St. Mary's Hospital in Watertown, WI as a nurse's aide for several years and later was employed at Wal-Mart in Florida and Wisconsin Rapids, WI for 30 years.

Wanda loved the companionship of her dog Tika. She enjoyed interior decorating and creating floral arrangements. She was very giving and compassionate to those less fortunate then her.

Wanda will be missed by her children, Barbara (Kenneth) Wolfgram of West Bend, WI, Wanda (Richard) Udovich of Watertown, WI, Dale (Norma) Bruske of Barbados, West Indies, Lynn (Randell) Grulke of Watertown, WI, DuWayne Bruske of Lake Mills, WI and Kymberly Harmelink of West Bend, WI; 21 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and two sisters, Lois Tishim of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Janet Pickering of Watertown, WI.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Otto Bruske and Leo Harrer; two sons, Craig Bruske and Gary Harrer and three sisters, Alice, Mildred and Gene.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to the South Wood County Humane Society or to the Watertown Humane Society.

"Wanda's family would like to thank Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice, Aspirus Riverview Hospital, the friendly employees at Edgewater Haven and Strawberry Lane for the compassionate, loving care given to their Mom. Also, thank you to her many relatives and friends for their support throughout the years."
