Wayne Fredrick Steinfeldt Obituary
Steinfeldt, Wayne Fredrick

The gift of Wayne Fredrick Steinfeldt was received the afternoon of March 27, 2017 into God's hands. Wayne was born on March 18, 1923 in Port Edwards, Wisconsin. Wayne was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Margaret (Ellis), son Michael, parents, Fred William, Irene Matilda and brother Robert. Wayne is survived by his daughters Cynthia (Rozmarich), Mary (Price), Pamela (Lindley), son Brian, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and three siblings; Sister Clarice Steinfeldt, Sister Doris Steinfeldt and Marilyn Rehberg.

Wayne touched numerous lives through his generosity, ability to fix anything (known to many as 'Mr. Fix it') and tenacity for perfection. Wayne never met a stranger. His heart was pure and never judged people but embraced the opportunity to meet, get to know them and help in any way he could. Wayne enjoyed life to its fullest and measured people not by what they possessed but what they did. He had a passion for fishing and many days he was found reeling in that big one on a pond, lake or ocean. He also enjoyed pulling a slot handle a time or two.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 10135 West Rd, Houston, TX 77064 with Father John Tran officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in the name of Wayne F Steinfeldt to: St. Maximilian at the address above. In the memo section of the check please write: For Covered Parking fund - Wayne F Steinfeldt.
