William A. Ohm, 79 of Arpin died on Friday morning June 6, 2014 at his home with his family at his side.

Private family service will be held.

Bill was born on October 15, 1932 in Arpin to August and Anna (Hohn). He was united in marriage to Beverly J. Gardner on August 23, 1958 in Wisconsin and she died on June 2, 2010.

Bill served in the United States Army during the Korean War from November 1, 1954 until his honorable discharge on October 31, 1956.

After his military service he began employment at Consolidated Papers retiring in 1994. While working at the paper mill, he farmed in the town of Richfield. He continued to check on this spring's plowing work a week before he died.

He is survived by his children Debra (Dennis) Grimm of Arpin, William C. Ohm of Arpin, Rhonda (Ronald) Fochs of Janesville, Lynn (Kevin) Trachte of Pittsville and Kevin (Theresa) Ohm of Arpin; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is further survived by a sister Kathleen Clark of Wisconsin Rapids.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law James Lingford, two sisters Lenore in infancy and Carol Dahlie.
