JoAnn Woolums, 78, of Wilmington, passed away on Saturday morning, April 30, 2016 at the Butler and Warren Counties Hospice.
Born Sept. 2, 1937 in Decatur, Alabama, she was the daughter of James Harold and Jessie Mae Harry Niager. JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Woolums, in 2001.
She had worked at US Shoe and retired from Bundy Tubing, and was a member of Wilmington Senior Citizens.
JoAnn is survived by her children, Cindy (Greg) Allbright of Wilmington, Rick (Janice) Woolums of Lebanon and Keith (Mickey) Woolums of St. Louis. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren, Jason (Bethany) Woolums, Blaire (Pete) Brown, Danielle Ritchey, Josh and Jordan Woolums, Courtney and Ryan Allbright, Rob (Jennifer) Cleaver and Chris Cleaver; 12 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Linda Gail and Brenda Sue.
She was preceded by siblings, Robena and Dorothy Ann.
Her funeral service will be on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
