Jane E. Adams, age 78, of Sabina, passed unexpectedly on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Clinton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Leesburg on April 26, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Dorothy Casto Harris.
Jane is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert Adams. The two were united in marriage on December 15, 1961.
A graduate of Leesburg High School, Jane worked at Autumn Years Nursing and Rehab; after 25 of years of service, she retired from AVI for Mac Tool in Sabina.
A devoted and active member of Leesburg Wesleyan Church, Jane was saved at the age of 15. She served as a Sunday School teacher for 50 years, took pride in being a VBS director and cherished her church.
Jane was also a Cub Scout den mother for many years in Sabina. She loved Easter and Christmas, liked to craft, enjoyed flowers, and was known to cook large feasts for every meal.
Jane was an amazing woman and touched many lives in her lifetime. She was an exceptional caregiver to her beloved husband, Robert, and her presence will be missed by those that knew her.
In addition to her husband, Jane is survived by her sons and their wives: Jerry and Deanna Adams, of Beavercreek, and Mike and Shawna Adams, of Washington Court House. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Mitchell (Kelsey) Adams, Kalina (John) Campbell, and Hannah (Jonathon) Morgan; great-grandchildren: Gwenievere Adams, Elsie Campbell, and Baby Morgan, on the way; special niece, Barbara (Jim) Colthar; numerous nieces and nephews; and her in-laws in the Adams family.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings: Walter Harris, Lillian Bauman, Marie Wilson, Iva Quigley and Myrtle Shafer.
Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Leesburg Wesleyan Church (225 W. Main St., Leesburg, OH 45135).
