Linda L. Merrick, age 80, of Martinsville, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at her home.
She was born on March 7, 1940 in Hillsboro, Ohio, the daughter of the late John Walter and Goldie E. (Flor) Andrews.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles Merrick; one daughter, Angie Cloud of New Vienna; three grandsons, Jason (Jill) Cloud of Hillsboro, Josh (Crystal) Cloud of Hurricane, West Virginia and Joey (Kelsey) Cloud of Leesburg; seven great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Rowen, Olivia, Emma, Ellie, Jeffrey and Joby; two sisters, Barbara (Jim) Pierson of Lynchburg and Peggy Rohrer of Dublin; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Alan Merrick; and mother and father-in-law, Willie and Elizabeth Merrick.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Clinton Memory Gardens in Wilmington, with Rev. Robert Miller officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name, to Community Care Hospice, P.O. Box 123, Wilmington, OH 45177.
