Pauline M. Nickol

YORK Pauline Marie Nickol, 91, formerly of Hellam, died on April 8, 2012, at Manor Care Kingston Court. She was the wife of the late Leonard O. Nickol, Sr. Born on December 31, 1920, in York, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Lillie (Brenneman) Miller. She was a homemaker and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Hellam. She is survived by a son, Leonard Nickol, Jr. of Harrisburg; a daughter, Diane M. Barnard of Vandalia, Ohio; three grandchildren, Mark, Ryan and Cameron; two great-grandchildren, Riley and Addison; two brothers Edward Miller, Wayne Miller; three sisters, Gloria Flaharty, Charlotte Altland and Dorothy Hawkins. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Home 1111 E. Market St., York, with the Rev. William LaSalle officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 until 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
