Barbarann M. (Solito) Pennington
Dover - Barbarann M. (Solito) Pennington, 83, passed away May 16, 2018. Born June 27, 1934 in Allentown, Barb was a creative lady that enjoyed working with flowers, crafts and watching birds. Her favorite things were puzzles, cards, reading, fairies and animals. Over the years she loved many fur babies including her current kitty, Mandy.
A visitation will be held 10-11a.m. Saturday, May 19 at Shiloh Lutheran Church, 2201 Church Rd. York. The service will begin 11 a.m. at the church, and burial will follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. is assisting with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church, or a favorite animal shelter.
She is loved by her husband, Gordon; her brother and sister-in-law, Kerry and Carol Miller of Allentown; her daughters, Gwenn Solito James, and twins, Dina Solito and Lisa Pennington along with her children's spouses, Kent James, Tracy Ingram, Matthew Pennington, and Hilda Solito; and her five stepsons; and nieces, Lynn Keisel and Andrea Johnson.
In heaven Barb will be reunited with her first husband, Angelo Solito; and her son, Kevin Solito.
Barb shared her "bunny kisses" with all of her grandchildren, Bridgette Golden, Eric Solito, Noah Pennington, Gabriel James and Tate Solito Ingram. Her beloved great-grandchildren, Devon, Ian and Gianna will keep her in their prayers.
