YORK Beverly A. McAfee, 67, passed away unexpectedly at the York Hospital on Saturday, January 11, 2014. She was married to Eugene McAfee for 51 years. He preceded her in death in 2008. She was born on November 6, 1946, in York, a daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Smith) Spahr. She is survived by two sons, Eugene McAfee, Jr. and Kevin McAfee, both of York; three daughters, Beverly J. Martinez, Tammy Sharp, and Sebra McAfee, all of York; ten grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin, Amanda, Samantha, Heather, Joseph, Jose, Logan, Lauren, and Mariah; and six great-grandchildren. Beverly was one of six children. Beverly was an independent contractor for the York Newspaper Company for over 30 years. She enjoyed crocheting and collecting novel radios. The service and burial will be private . Memorial contributions may be made to Kevin McAfee, 490 Mundis Mill Road, York, PA 17406 to defray funeral expenses. John W.
