Gladys Eichelberger Obituary

Eichelberger WRIGHTSVILLE Gladys I. (Anderson) Eichelberger, 87, died on Friday, March 15, 2013, at her residence. She was the wife of Wilbur W. Eichelberger, Sr., who died on December 13, 1982. Services for Mrs. Eichelberger are private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Eichelberger was born on December 1, 1925, in Chanceford Twp. She worked for many years as a laborer for Borg-Warner and later was a homemaker. Mrs. Eichelberger enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening, and word search puzzles. Gladys is survived by one son, Terry Eichelberger of Wrightsville; one daughter, Sandy Eichelberger of Airville; four grandchildren, Kenneth Eichelberger, Kevin Eichelberger, Nichole McCauley, and Russell Mellinger; two great-grandchildren, Breelynn Leik and Karrissa McCauley; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Wilbur W. Eichelberger, Jr. and Edward A. Eichelberger. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 50 E. King St., York, PA 17401.
