SEVEN VALLEYS Rebecca N. (Nunn) Eyster, 68, died Tuesday January 29, 2013, at her home. She was the wife of John W. Eyster, II, with whom she celebrated 48 years of marriage on July 26, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013, at St. Jacob's United Church of Christ, 100 E. George St., York New Salem, with her pastor, the Rev. Teresa A. Hughes, officiating. Burial will be in St. Jacob's Union Cemetery. There will be no viewing. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 8:45 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Eyster was born on February 21, 1944, in York, a daughter of the late Douglas R. Nunn and Charlotte (Eberly) Nunn. Along with her husband, she was the co-owner of Valley Products Company, York New Salem, for 36 years. She was an active member of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ, where she had served on many committees over the years. Rebecca enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, reading, gardening, and visiting the family cabin in the mountains where she would sit on the porch and admire the beautiful hummingbirds. She was an avid Penn Sate football fan and enjoyed baseball spring training in Florida, especially the Phillies. She also recently had been volunteering for her grandson's kindergarten class at York New Salem Elementary. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends and loved being with her pride and joy, her two grandsons. In addition to her husband, John W. Eyster, II, she is survived by a daughter, Betsy Eyster of York; a son, Andrew J. Eyster and his wife, Sarah of Seven Valleys; and two grandsons, Andrew J. Eyster, II and John Dayton Eyster. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jacob's United Church of Christ Building Fund, P.O. Box 111, York New Salem, PA 17371.

John, I am heartsick to hear about Becky.She was a wonderful friend of all the Clarks. I will always think of her living on the little road between Gladfelter Station and Seven Valleys - my old stomping ground.
