Lois E. Gorseline

NEW OXFORD Lois E. (Thompson) Adams Gorseline, 89, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013, at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edwin C. Adams and the late Robert Gorseline. Lois was born in Philadelphia, April 16, 1923, daughter to the late Charles W. and Evelyn (Dunbar) Thompson. She was a long time member of Emanuel United Methodist Church in Loganville and a former member of the York White Rose Square Dance Club. Survivors include four children, Linda J. (Adams) Brackbill and her husband, J. Louis of Florida, Edwin C. Adams and his wife, Barbara of Dallastown, Donald J. Adams and his wife, Peggy of Lockhaven, and Barry T. Adams and his wife, Anita of Red Lion; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Thompson of New Holland, George Thompson of West Chester; and a niece Susan Meredith of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Gosseline. Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Emanuel U.M. Church, 40 S. Main St., Loganville. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Terry L. Leckrone. Final resting place will be in Emanuel United Methodist Cemetery, Loganville. Viewings will be held Thursday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Robert M. Goodling Funeral Service, 62 Main St., Seven Valleys, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 55 S.
